US women looking to go number one with a bullet

After destroying Algeria in just 58 minutes on day five of the FIVB World Cup, the US women’s team picked up the pace even more on their day off.

The number-one ranked US take on winless Kenya on Sunday at 2.10am (ET) and will be looking to emulate their super-fast transportation on the court.

Karch Kiraly’s team sit second on the FIVB World Cup ladder with four wins and one loss from their opening five matches, trailing only undefeated Russia.

The top two teams in the FIVB World Cup will be rewarded with Olympic qualification.
